The Colavita Cycling Clubs are amateur racing and recreational programs that comprise the largest competitive cycling organization active in the US. Along with Colavita USA’s (www.colavita.com) sponsorship of professional women’s and men’s pro teams, Colavita supports the 15 or more regional club teams with over 600 members in more than 20 states across the country.
Of course, the #1 benefit of joining a Colavita Cycling Club is meeting and riding with a network of local cyclists for fun, safety, and yes, even competition. Colavita Cycling Club members also receive special discount codes for purchases of Colavita pro team apparel and Colavita products purchased at Colavita’s online store, which is accessible through www.teamcolavita.com and www.colavita.com. In addition, members are eligible for discounts at affiliated bike shops and other offers. And if you are a competitive racer and need a USA Cycling license, you can affiliate yourself with Colavita Racing, which is the leading team in the US.
Colavita Cycling Clubs welcome riders of all levels – from cycling novices who want to learn riding skills as a recreational activity to the most experienced racers. Whether you ride for fun, fitness, or to compete in local or national races, Colavita Cycling Clubs offer the opportunity to share the road, training tips, friendship, and a passion for cycling with people in your area..
No! Colavita Cycling is committed to cycling because it’s fun and part of a healthy lifestyle. Cycling is an activity that all ages and genders can enjoy for fun and fitness. Racing is optional and for those with that competitive spirit! And if you do choose to race, you’ll be part of the leading team in the country.
Women, men, and children under 16 (known as Juniors in cycling) are welcome to ride for recreation, competition, or both in all of the Colavita Cycling Clubs. In many clubs, families can participate in group rides together. Some clubs with highly competitive racing teams offer separate programs specifically for women or juniors for enhanced racing and training opportunities – and potentially, a spot on a Colavita pro squad. Check the website for the Colavita Club nearest you for details.

If I buy a jersey for one of the pro cycling teams that Colavita supports, does that mean I’m a member of the Colavita Cycling Clubs?
We’re always thrilled to see Colavita Pro Team colors out on the roads nationwide (available at ColavitaStore.com). However, if you want the full team experience and to meet other riders in your area, we encourage you to contact a Colavita Cycling Club and become an official club member. This way, you will also enjoy the many social benefits and discounts at local affiliated bike shops.
Colavita Cycling Clubs offer custom clothing to their members, which typically resembles what the Colavita pros wear. The main difference is that clothing for Colavita Cycling Clubs usually includes logos for local organizations in addition to national sponsors.
