I’ve been thinking of ways to get some extra protein into my diet…naturally, of course. Farro is very popular in Italy (it was purportedly the grain of choice for the Roman legions!) and incredibly versatile.
The second recipe in this series, is a power-packed biscotti recipe. Biscotti are traditional Italian cookies that are twice-cooked, so they’re extra crispy. They are often stuffed with different nuts and berries, or even chocolate.
