Colavita’s long history in the sport of cycling began in 1999. In 2003, Colavita launched its first professional women’s team and from then until 2023 the Colavita women’s team was a highly successful national team that launched National Champions and Olympians. This lead to co-sponsorships with brands like Fine Cooking, HelloFresh, and Factor meals, and Oakley, and a long standing bike sponsorship with Bianchi.

From here Colavita began to support local and national charities through their sponsorship of regional amateur teams across the United States and select charities like the Pride Ride in New York City.

Colavita currently sponsors 11 amateur cycling teams who have a shared goal of creating a supportive community cycling community, and enjoying time on their bikes through rides and competitions.
