PB and J
Relive your childhood memories with this smoothie that tastes just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
- 8 oz almond milk
- 1 tablespoon peanut or almond butter (almond is better for you)
- 5 fresh strawberries
- 1 scoop protein powder (we use Full Throttle Endurance Whey Protein)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
- dash of cinnamon
- dash of nutmeg
- Optional – make it a chocolate PB&J by adding 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- Throw everything in the blender. Blend until you can't blend anymore. Or until everything is properly mixed up – whichever comes first.
- If the consistency is too thick, you can add some water or ice cubes.
- Pour into a glass, add a straw and sip away!
